CLEAR: Women Workers

CLEAR, Compañeras, Lideres, Emprendedoras, Aliadas, y Revolucionarias, is a group of women workers who are partners, leaders, entrepreneurs, allies, and revolutionaries in their communities and skilled in various jobs.

This collective grants women from the city of Pomona and the surrounding regions access to greater job options  and economic self-reliance while also providing opportunities for their professional and leadership development. The program includes job development trainings, health and safety workshops,, and a multitude of other resources meant to empower the women workers.

“I hope to have a place where I can receive training in different areas like, personal finances and both professional and personal development. It is said that the garment that a woman should always carry with her is confidence and trust in her. I believe in this woman’s program and the PEOC to achieve a better future for my family.” – Claudia Bedolla, CLEAR member
