En tu Centro Jornalero, estamos analizando todavía los órdenes ejecutivos decretados hoy por el nuevo presidente concerniente la inmigración.Pero independientemente de las nuevas políticas y sus secuelas en nuestra realidad cotidiana, es importante que nuestra comunidad sepa que su Centro Jornalero sigue siendo un santuario para nuestra comunidad jornalera, trabajadora, e inmigrante.Seguiremos en pie de lucha en defensa de los derechos de los y las inmigrantes.Seguiremos luchando contra las deportaciones.
Seguiremos en defensa contra todo ataque por parte de racistas, xenófobos, ya sean organizados u actores independientes.
Y seguiremos en solidaridad con las demás comunidades actualmente blancos de las nuevas agresiones, ya sean comunidades musulmanas, compas de la diversidad sexual y de género, grupos indígenas, personas con discapacidades, y quienes son victimizados/as por la violencia estatal.
Ahora no es tiempo de doblegarnos, sino de salir con la frente en alto y a luchar. Será por el bien de todos y todas, y para nuestras futuras generaciones, que son nuestra esperanza.

PEOC Statement on Immigration-Related Executive Orders (in English):
At your Day Labor Center, we are still analyzing the executive orders concerning immigration issued today by the new president.
But regardless of the new policies and their implications for our day-to-day reality, it’s important that our community know that your Day Labor Center continues to be a sanctuary for our day laborer, worker, and immigrant community.
We will continue to be involved in the struggle to defend the rights of immigrants.
We will continue fighting deportations.
We will continue to defend against all facist and xenophobic attacks, whether carried out by organized groups or individuals.
And we will continue to stand in solidarity with the rest of the communities currently targeted by new aggressions, whether they are Muslim communities, our comrades with diverse sexual and gender identities, indigenous groups, people with disabilities, and all those victimized by state violence.
Now is not time to submit, but rather to hold our heads high and to struggle. It will be for the good of all of us, an for the good of our future generations, who are our hope.
