The PEOC is a non-profit day labor organization whose mission is to provide an opportunity for day laborers to find safe work at a fair wage, to obtain new trades and skills that improve their employability and quality of life, and to improve the overall conditions for all immigrant workers.
The PEOC is made up of day laborers, Pomona residents, ESL teachers, students from the Claremont Colleges, Mt. SAC, and Cal Poly, and supporters of worker and immigrants rights. Become informed about our current membership drive and upcoming events!
We provide employers with the opportunity to hire day laborers. If you are looking to hire a worker for a day, follow this link. We also conduct educational outreach and wage theft claim mitigation.
